Mold growth is a persistent problem in many structures in the Darien area. High humidity and large variations in temperatures from weather and heating allow for condensation, settling on organic materials--the food source for fungi. Our AMRT crew can use knowledge, skills, advanced equipment, and antimicrobial products to remove most mold, a process called mold remediation. The subfloor shown with mold damage in the Before Photo can be remedied with a process called soda blasting. A baking soda product is jettisoned under pressure to remove the growths from the substrate gently.
