Muddy Floodwater in a Darien Municipal Building
The groundwater, after the storm, has receded from the corridor in this Darien building. Since the concrete block, resilient flooring, and vinyl coving can all rebuff water; the immediate effort was to rid the premises of contaminated muck. SERVPRO, because We're Faster To Any Size Disaster, arrived after-hours to remove the remaining water and the settled muck and mud. We don PPE personal protective equipment when dealing with biohazardous elements. The After Photo shows a bright and clean corridor, with the baseboards still removed, sanitized and safe for foot traffic. We use EPA-approved chemical agents to ensure that the risks from pathogens, viruses, and bacteria have been eliminated.
